PAAR4Kids: Pharmacogenomics of Anticancer Agents Research in Children

Aims

  • To define genomic variation important for interpatient variability in response to medications used to treat childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL)
  • To translate pharmacogenomics into clinical treatment settings in ALL
  • To collaborate with other pharmacogenomics investigators, within and outside of the NIH’s Pharmacogenetics Research Network (PGRN), and to contribute to shared databases and resources, to leverage relevant pharmacogenomic knowledge from pediatric ALL to other disciplines (and vice versa)

Aims 1a, 1b, and 1c utilize acquired and inherited genomic variation in the context of detailed information on nongenetic sources of variation to define the pharmacogenomics of leukemia therapy.
